LAST WEEK:
Last week we learned about being on the farm and the different animals you would find on a farm.  We reviewed the sounds of farm animals as well as matching a toy farm animal to a picture of a farm animal.  We sang "Old McDonald" using toy farm animals and matching them to the animal in the song!
We got to create mud pigs by using shaving cream and paint.  This was a big class hit the children loved getting to paint with a puffy texture and cover their piggies in "mud"!  We glued yellow, orange and white feathers on paper ducks and then on Friday we used our handprints to create sheep by gluing cotton balls on the palms on the hands and sticking eyes on the thumbs.  The children thought it was so cute and liked seeing their sheep get puffier!  We also song "Baa Baa Black Sheep"
