December 15th - 19th
LAST WEEK:
Last week we learned about Kwanzaa and began our introduction into winter. We read books about Kwanzaa and learned about the 7 days celebrated. We created the kinara using our hands and practicing the colors, we created a quilt using different shapes in the kwanzaa colors of red, green and black. We made trees out of cones and puffy paint and sticking buttons on them for lights, as well as Olaf the snowman.
THIS WEEK:
We begin our winter theme in Christmas! This is going to be a really fun week! We have fun crafts where we will get to paint and glue things together to create trees, snow globes, candy canes and lights! We will get to continue singing fun holiday songs and read some silly stories! On Thursday and Friday we will have our Holiday Party!
