Rainbow Room Newsletter
January 12th - 16th
LAST WEEK:
Last week we started off our month learning about Snowman, ice, and learning the spelling of our names. We got to create lots of different types of snowman, even making ones with the letters of our names. We got to explore ice in the sensory table with texture, temperature and what happens when you put salt on ice and then used water colors to paint the ice and see the reactions to it. We painted with frozen paint seeing what happens when you mix one primary color with another, which the kids really enjoyed getting covered in paint!!
THIS WEEK:
This week we are learning about Polar Animals!!
We will get to paint cute penguins using pears, create igloos with white playdough, use coconut to make a silly seal, play a mitten match game, practice lacing and more!
