September 8th - 12th

What a wonderful first week of school we had!  T. Donna and I are so excited for this years class :)

THIS WEEK:

We are learning "All About Me".  We will be learning some new songs, reading some fun books, and creating pieces of art.  We will be doing lots of painting this week and water play!

SHARING:

Every week is a new theme to our sharing.  This week it is the letter "F" or something that you can share about yourself.  

It is not required to bring in a sharing, however the children really enjoy it.  

Please be sure to label your sharing item with the child's name and last initial.  

There is a red basket that will be outside the classroom each day for the sharing to go into.  We ask that you place the sharing item in the basket before entering class.  Thanks!

FAMILY PICTURE:

If you have not done so already, please bring in a family photo for our family wall in the classroom.

VOLUNTEER HOURS:

It is required that you have 2 hours of volunteer time per child.  We will be having sign up sheets and volunteer ideas/ donation lists out for parents to look at and sign up for.  

SIGN-IN/ OUT

Please remember to sign your child in and out each morning before and after class.  

The sign in sheet is located on the table by the door.

REMINDERS:

Please be sure to bring with you extra change of clothes and extra pull-ups and wipes.

Please label EVERYTHING!

CLASSROOM:

T. Donna or I will open the classroom door at 9:00am.  

LEAVING:

We will be dismissing each child one by one.  Please make sure you are waiting outside the classroom before calling your child's name.  Thanks :)
